The Renault 4CV is an economy vehicle created by the French manufacturer Renault from August 1947 to July 1961. As the first French automobile to sell over a million units, the 4CV was in the end superseded by the Renault Dauphine.

The 4CV was a four-door sedan of monocoque construction,[1] three.6 meters in length with rear suicide doors[three] and using Renault’s Ventoux engine in a rear-engine, rear-wheel drive layout.

The rear mounting of the engine meant that the steering could be highly geared even though remaining reasonably light: in the early vehicles only 2¼ turns had been required from lock to lock.[1] The unusually direct steering no doubt delighted some keen drivers, but road tests of the time nonetheless included warnings to take great care with the car’s handling on wet roads.[1] In due course the makers switched from 1 intense to the other, and on later vehicles 4½ turns had been needed to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock.

The 4CV’s direct replacement was the Dauphine, launched in 1956, but the 4CV in fact remained in production until 1961. The 4CV was replaced by the Renault 4 which utilised the identical engine as the 4CV and sold for a similar cost.

Boeing’s B-29 Superfortress was the most sophisticated propeller-driven bomber of Globe War II and the first bomber to residence its crew in pressurized compartments. Quoting Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum | Vought OS2U-3 Kingfisher:

The Kingfisher was the U.S. Navy’s main ship-based, scout and observation aircraft throughout Planet War II. Revolutionary spot welding strategies gave it a smooth, non-buckling fuselage structure. Deflector plate flaps that hung from the wing’s trailing edge and spoiler-augmented ailerons functioned like added flaps to permit slower landing speeds. Most OS2Us operated in the Pacific, exactly where they rescued a lot of downed airmen, which includes World War I ace Eddie Rickenbacker and the crew of his B-17 Flying Fortress.

In March 1942, this airplane was assigned to the battleship USS Indiana. It later underwent a six-month overhaul in California, returned to Pearl Harbor, and rejoined the Indiana in March 1944. Lt. j.g. Rollin M. Batten Jr. was awarded the Navy Cross for generating a daring rescue in this airplane under heavy enemy fire on July 4, 1944.

The DeLorean DMC-12 (commonly referred to simply as The DeLorean as it was the only model ever made by the company) is a sports vehicle manufactured by John DeLorean’s DeLorean Motor Company for the American market in 1981–82. Featuring gull-wing doors with a fiberglass &quotunderbody&quot, to which non-structural brushed stainless steel panels are affixed, the auto became iconic for its look as a modified time machine in the Back to the Future film trilogy.

The 1st prototype appeared in October 1976, and production officially began in 1981 in Dunmurry, a suburb of south west Belfast, Northern Ireland (with the very first DMC-12 rolling off the production line on January 21). During its production, a number of characteristics of the auto had been changed, such as the hood style, wheels and interior. Around 9,000 DMC-12s have been created before production halted in early 1983.

The DMC-12 was the only model developed by the business, which would go into liquidation as the US vehicle marketplace went through its biggest slump because the 1930s. In 2007, about six,500 DeLorean Motor cars had been believed to still exist.

British entrepreneur Stephen Wynne primarily based in Texas started a separate firm in 1995 making use of the &quotDeLorean Motor Firm&quot name and shortly thereafter acquired the trademark on the stylized &quotDMC&quot logo as properly as the remaining components inventory of the original DeLorean Motor Firm. A ‘veggie’ paté, created with green beans, tofu, toasted walnuts, and dill pickles. It can be shaped like a paté, but it’s actually a lot more of a spread.

Components

1 cake tofu (14 ounces)

2 cups green beans, steamed

1 1/2 cups onions, minced (plus 4 TBSPs minced onions)

1 cup walnuts, toasted

two TBSPs soy sauce

4 TBSPs vegan mayonnaise

3 TBSPs mustard

1 cup plus four TBSPs minced onions

2 tsp vegetable oil

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp dried sage

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp Chinese five spice blend

1 cup minced Kosher dill pickle

freshly ground pepper, to taste

pinch Kosher salt

fresh dill, cut

Procedure

1. Blanch and press tofu. Let to cool.

two. Steam green beans until just soft.

3. Toast walnuts at 350 °F until just fragrant (eight minutes or so). Don’t burn!

4. Grate tofu, coarsely.

5. Blend steamed green beans and toasted walnuts with soy sauce, vegan mayonnaise, and mustard until roughly processed.

6. Add mixture to grated tofu with four TBSPs minced onions. Set aside.

7. With spices, sauté remaining onions in vegetable oil, more than medium heat until translucent.

eight. Add sautéd onions to mixture, with minced pickles. Add pinch Kosher salt, and freshly ground pepper, to taste. Refrigerate and serve, topped with reduce fresh dill.

Today Sydney once again enjoyed one of the premiere Music Festivals to hit Australia – the Future Music Festival.

Randwick, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs was blasted by festival goers, and for the most part, the crowd was not disappointed.

The fest which attracted 50,000 fans, had a line-up that ranged from Psy to alt-indie rockers The Stone Roses.

Industry talk as some folks questioned the use of the phrase "future music" for bands who had found fame and success decades ago, including The Stone Roses and The Prodigy, despite both acts being strong drawcards for many fans at the event.

There were plenty of other hot acts on the marquee included Rita Ora, Australian band The Temper Trap and Avicii.

Well done to everyone involved in the success of this years Future Music Festival.
